B.T.U. Re-Entry Ministries - Building Together Universally
Steve L. Mathis is the owner and organizer of BTU Re-Entry Ministries. "As an ex-offender myself I experienced first hand how hard it is coming out incarceration into society to obtain employment." BTU was initiated because of my South Dallas neighborhood Bonton University, meaning the "School of Hard Knocks." The goal was to turn a negative into a positive by giving BTU a new meaning. It is now what I call BTU-Building Together Universally. Even though BTU started in the southern sector of Dallas we plan on having a global focus.

In order to be considered for the BTU program you will need a reference from either a prison chaplain, warden, minister in the community, etc... Upon completion of the initiation we will begin the process of assisting you with locating employment, learning a trade or going to college.

If I can hold down a full-time job, administrate a ministry and go to school full-time, you can to. Just believe!
